Melissa and Will chose an Intimate Scottish Elopement at Brothers Point because this place had already carved itself into their story. When they first stood on that cliff edge in 2022 it hit them like a jolt. The kind of feeling you cannot name but you remember in your chest. Awe. Calm. The sense that the whole coastline was holding its breath with them. They were completely alone until a couple from Italy wandered up and offered to take their photo. That moment sits framed in their home now. A reminder of the exact second this landscape became part of them. So when they chose to come back to Scotland to get married it was always going to be here.
They found us because they wanted the same energy we put into our films and photos. Real beauty. Wild scenery. Romance without the soft varnish. A love story told honestly. When we met them we felt it straight away. Their excitement for Brothers Point mirrored our own. The cliffs. The sea. The open paths that pull you forward. This place holds everything from quiet stillness to full on rugged coastline and their day moved with it.
Their story started with a Tinder message. Melissa went first. Will likes to joke she came in bold. She disagrees but laughs every time he says it. One message turned into days of talking. Then a coffee date that lasted hours and ended in the two of them wandering the city, lost in construction, laughing the whole time. They lived in different states during that first year so everything was earned. Long drives after work. Late night phone calls that spilled into the early hours. Eventually Melissa moved back to Minnesota and they built their life with their dogs, cats and a home filled with projects, concerts, travel plans and slow evenings doing nothing together.
Brothers Point gave them exactly what they needed. Space to breathe. Raw beauty without distraction. A sense of standing at the edge of something bigger. We kept the day relaxed and playful so they could settle into the landscape and let the cliffs work their magic. The light shifted over the sea and they leaned into it. This is why we love intimate Scottish elopements. No noise. No expectations. Just two people choosing each other in a place that feels right.
We filmed and photographed the whole day with one hybrid team which kept everything smooth. No split vision. No competing directions. No stepping on each other’s moments. When one team handles hybrid wedding photo and video everything stays unified and the story feels stronger. Melissa and Will never had to repeat anything or switch their focus. They just lived the day and we captured all of it.
